"Living With" product review: The Herman Miller Embody chair

I was wondering if anyone else has the same problem as me. I have had FOUR seat pans for this chair now. The seat keeps collapsing within about 6 months
lose weight?
Please someone tell them than human anatomy does not stop at the shoulders...
I know this reply is coming 5 years after your comment, but I thought I'd post anyway, for those who are reading now.
You can order the Embody chair with a taller seat mast, for tall people like yourself. So that would solve one of your problems anyway. The adjustment range of the lumbar support wasn't enough?
TWO BIG problems with the arms:
1) They stick out too far to the front - very hard to get close enough to the desk.
2) I am 6'2" and the arms don't adjust wide enough.
It is just too frustrating. The arms on the Aeron were much better - shorter and swiveled. It would be great if they made this option available for our Embody chairs.
Sadly - I might have to get rid of this chair...
I know you gave props to the chair for allowing you to have your arm on the rest while mousing, but this horrible for your carpal tunnel tendons. It increases the pressure there and increases your risk for an RSI.
