We love Daniel Loves Objects

Daniel Loves Objects is the call sign for a brilliant Singapore-based designer behind some rather unusual furniture pieces. The "Of War & Wits & Power" bookshelf was inspired, the designer implies (without directly saying) by North Korea; his poseable, anthropomorphic "At Your Command" lamps (shown above without their power cords) will appeal to the freaky megalomaniac in all of us.

Check out his full, and deep, book on Coroflot.

Might as well come out and say that it was inspired by Korean artist Do Ho Suh. Give credit where credit is due.

Rain Noe

I’m a lapsed industrial designer. I was born in NYC and figured I’d die there, but a few years ago I abandoned New York to live on a farm in the countryside with my wife. We have six dogs.
