This 30 Second Delivery sculpture is by Seattle-based artist Sunday Nobody.
Whether he's commenting on shoppers' demands for ever-faster package delivery, Jeff Bezos' preoccupation with rockets, or a link between a consumerist economy and wars fought over resources isn't clear; perhaps all three are valid interpretations.
The artist has committed to taking orders for just two weeks, having started on July 26th and running until August 9th.
He's also selling a limited run of the blueprints for $45.
His pricing model for the delivery missiles is interesting: He sold the first one for $30, and increased the price of each subsequent sale by another $30; at press time they were going for $990 a pop.

Seems very on point for a Seattle artist... I haven't used Amazon in years. Maybe almost a decade. Just don't need it.
Its August the first :D
