These Vector rims are by California-based Concept Car Studio, and designed to look like something you'd see on an '80s-era concept car.
They look particularly good on wedge-shaped vehicles, like the Subaru XT6:
"We realized that nobody since the early 2000s has tried to offer the public weird wacky wheels that are completely unique, offered in small sizes and highly customizable at an affordable price," company founder Brent Lawson said in a Jalopnik interview.
The Vector rims—which are forged, not cast—are offered in sizes from 14" to 26", in any bolt pattern; to get a sense of cost, a set of 17" Vectors runs $3,700, including shipping.
The Vectors are the company's first offering, and they're now rolling out a second: These U-Hots, inspired by the Ultra Hots line of Hot Wheels cars.
The price of the U-Hots wasn't announced at press time, but ordering info is below.
