Flos Updates Philippe Starck's Bon Jour Unplugged Lamp
It's the 10th anniversary of Philippe Starck's Bon Jour Unplugged, a cordless rechargeable lamp designed for Flos.
To celebrate, the brand is updating the lamp with new colorways, along with some technology that the 2015 model lacked: You can now change the color temperature of the LEDs ( from a warm 2200K to a cool 3000K), the dimming percentages have been made more precise (3%, 30%, 70%, 100%), and the lamp now features wireless charging in addition to the USB-C charging.
Another small change: Previously the lamp could be purchased bare, without a shade, looking like a Starckian barbell.
Now the transparent shade comes standard. You can also choose it in different hues, or opt for fabric or rattan shades.
The lamp runs $330.
