Built around a patented swivel pivot system, the shoulder pads feature an innovative design that allows the upper shell to expand, making them easier to put on while maintaining a locked-in, secure fit during gameplay.

Designing for Strength, Fit, and Durability

Our role focused on developing the detailed 3D CAD for the shoulder pad, carefully integrating the patented pivot system while maximizing ergonomic fit and shell strength. Through simulation modeling and ergonomic studies, we ensured the shoulder pads could withstand forces up to 1,500 pounds while conforming comfortably to the human form. The final CAD model balanced structure, flexibility, and manufacturability to meet the extreme demands of the modern game.
