THOLOS is a communication system designed to link major cosmopolitan areas together. The prototypes are large cylinders, with a 360ï¿½ projection surface producing panoramic views of the environment and inhabitants of another city in perfect picture quality. Direct personal contact among visitors to the various locations is encouraged by image and sound.

On Tuesday, the Endgaget site launched. Founded by Peter Rojas, who also helped launch >Gizmodo, the new site is all gadgets, all the time. Obsessively updated daily.
