WertelOberfell-Platform, designer of the popular Module.MGX. The pattern is based on the Fractal.MGX coffee table they designed in collaboration with Matthias Bär in 2008.
Unlike Fractal, Module is, well, modular, resulting from further research on the fractal growth patterns of trees. According to the designers, the table "minimizes waste, saves energy during the production process and makes production more cost effective" because of its steeply angled walls and hollow structure. The tables can stand alone or be linked seamlessly and infinitely. The modular patterns that result can be seen below. The table is 3d-printed in white and red ABS.
