Ask any designer of medical devices, and they'll probably tell you that injecting "sexiness" into their designs is neither easy, nor even part of the project brief. They've already got their hands full making medical equipment easy to use and easy on the eyes so that the complicated devices don't scare the bejeezus out of the patient.
No, when it comes to making medical equipment sexy, we're afraid that kind of fun is left to the advertisers. Hence we have Berlin-based ad agency Butter's hilarious campaign for manufacturer Eizo's high-precision medical imaging displays. Butter steals a page, or 12, from the pin-up calendars familiar to the craftsman/workbench set, producing their own calendars of slinky females showing off "every last detail."
