"Vizio" Hybrid Candle / Ashtray (not to be confused with the LCD TV Company)

Italian design company Flussocreativo are pleased to present a new "candela posacenere" design that they call "Vizio." By shifting the wick to the perimeter of a slight depression in the center of a puck-like paraffin disk, the candle doubles as an ashtray, such that the melted wax forms a pool to hold ashes and contain their odor.

Of course, Flussocreativo acknowledge the underlying health risks:We all agree, smoking is a habit that would be harmful to health; it is better not to smoke. But [for] those who want the pleasure of a cigarette, especially together [in a moment of reflection], VIZIO will be a useful accessory. Thus, the design is not intended to encourage smoking but to make it more discreet... at least until the elegant candle is filled with ashes and discarded butts.

Cool idea, just don't get the smoulder in the paraffin wax and keep on smoking -can't be good i reckon...
Its great if this stops the old buds from stinkin' up your place though.
