'Tube Games' Breaks the No Eye Contact/No Interaction/No Fun Rule in Public Transit
I live in a city because I have to, not because they want to. Every time I have the money to spare, I flee for the countryside so I don't have to be in contact with people I normally wouldn't have anything to do with at the best of times. please don't put any more effort into breaking down the walls people construct so they can stay sane in urban environments
However, from the graphics I incorrectly assumed the game was played utilising the RFID chip in the card, with an e-ink screen (or something like it). So I was a little bit disappointed when I read that it was suede.
I can understand wanting to keep it as low-tech as possible, but there are a large number of people who don't even touch the handrails on public transport, let alone chewing gum covered suede.
I am definitely not one of those people, but I think we should probably allow for them AND the vandals destined to ruin nice things.
