This is the best design essay I've read in years. I've always had the same feeling, but I couldn't explain it this clearly.
This article really resonated with me. Before discovering ID, my college friends would affectionately impersonate my rants on things that didn't work like they should - like troublesome window blinds. It really blew my mind, and in many ways still does, that this funny quality of mine would steer me into my calling. Thanks for the insightful piece, Michael!
