"The Mandalorian," Episode 1: A Production Design Review
That isn't Louis CK driving the speeder (I found this website because I thought it was him and looked it up). It is actually Brian Posehn who is the guy that plays Bert the geologist in a few Big Bang Theory episodes.
I loved everything about it but the Blurrg, which I can deal with. There are some pretty stupid looking animals on earth, not all the Star Wars animals should look cool. That said, your description is pretty spot on. It looks like an Angler fish found itself on land and was too angry to die. I really hope we get to see more of IG-11. Finally getting to see one fight after reading how dangerous they were as a kid was a treat.
Let's re-address the horrific DLO on that helmet, eh? I was hoping for something a little more unique than Boba Fett copy paste. Those blind spots have to make it impossible to have any spatial awareness... :P
All Mandalorians wear that helmet as part of their style/history/religion. It's also incredibly effective in the Star Wars canon which is why Boba Fett wore it after killing a mandalorian. It would throw a curveball to the Star Wars universe if a random mandalorian decided to break with tradition and wear something different.
hahaha half mushroom hahaha hey Ed did you get a look at Doc's outfit tonight it looks like somebody had a close encounter with Zsa Zsa Gabor HEYOOOOOOOOOO
Loved IG-11. After seeing IG-88 just stand in a bounty hunter lineup during 'Empire Strikes Back', see how that droid worked in the field was a great payoff!
