Robinwood Project Releases The Storm Lamp With Proceeds Going to Ukrainian Aid
The Storm Lamp is a Limited Edition Designer lamp made in Ukraine. Made from laser cut plywood, its design is reminiscent of the unbeatable Ukrainian spirit, shining through chaos. All profits generated are donated to NGOs providing humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine.
The Storm Lamp symbolises light through chaos. One could see the devastation inflicted to Ukrainian land in the irregular wooden planes, outweighed by the shimmering light of its people, brightful and undisturbed through the rubbles.
Cut with precision down to 0.1mm, each of the 34 wooden pannels was cut and assembled in Ukraine, only a few miles away from where the tree was grown. Making it the most eco-friendly material there is.
The Storm Lamp is part of the Robinwood Project, a non-profit initiative aiming at providing humanitarian and employment support to the people of Ukraine. The Robinwood Collection features high-end design objects made out of wood and manufactured in western Ukraine, far from the front line where over 6.5 million Ukrainians have fled since the beginning of the war.All profits generated are distributed to selected NGO's active in food supply, medical assistance, childcare and civilian and army protection.
The Storm Lamp is a Designer Lamp made by Julia Kononenko.
