Geometry Made Easy is a collection of suspended lights inspired by basic Geometric shapes: circle, triangle, square, rectangle and star. The frames are made of steel re-bars finished in matte paint, wired in colored textile cords. The beauty of the frames' basic geometry, almost bidimensional, lies in the simplicity of the projected shadows, made of lines.
Sara Bernardi - MICROmacro
Sara Bernardi worked in the fields of architecture and design for many international renowned companies such as Fuksas, Graft, IaN+, between Italy and China before founding her own practice in Beijing. Her work focuses on contradictions and dichotomies, grafting different scales and materials, mixing different identities and cultural influences. The result of her work is MICROmacro, a design office that exists between Beijing and Rome, and mixes an Italian design background with inspiration from both local craftsmanship and global influences.
MICROmacro's design collections and installation have been presented in many international design events between Beijing Milan and Turin, Like Beijing Design Week, Fuori Salone Sarpi Bridge, Fuori Salone Ventura Lambrate, Oriental Design Week and Operae Indipendent Design Festival.
