Atelier Robotiq employs Aerospace fiber winding technology to make intricate designs for their lightweight lamps made by an industrial robot.
Lamps are produced using 100-meter long fiber cord, which is then woven around a shape using robotic technology—the result of this process is a strong and lightweight lamp, ultimately weighing less than an iPhone 6.

The Fiber Pattern Lamp is made from dry industrial fibers that are then shaped into strong, lean light structures. Weighing only 95 grams and measuring 61 centimeters in diameter, it floats in the air with ease. The open fiber structures of the Fiber Pattern Lamps create fascinating light and shadow effects. Atelier Robotiq's in-house developed software and innovative robot technology allows for endless future design possibilities. The design studio's unique approach to design lies in the diverse combination of knowledge and their different educational backgrounds in robotics, aerospace engineering, product design and fine arts. This unique combination of skill sets leads to unexpected and exciting products within their practice—and the Fiber Pattern Lamp is just the beginning.
