The DRAS Phone: a Truly Foldable Smartphone
Modern smartphones have grown in size as users require a larger screen to interact with, which simultaneously compromises a smartphone's portability; the DRAS phone has been designed to address this issue. The design incorporates a flexible screen without a solid frame around it so that it can be unfolded to a highly compact standard phone format that allows the user to check his messages, the time, the weather, other notifications, etc. or, alternatively, it can be folded to a mini-phone that is the perfect format for a pocket.

CONSTRUCTION
- Assembled with a accordion style folding function, the DRAS Phone incorporates convenient form with innovate flexible touchscreen interface.
- The screen itself senses finger force, which means sensors can be placed behind the flexible surface without affecting touchscreen performance.
- Fully collapsible, the phone folds from a 60mm x 27mm x 33mm or 60 mm x 54mm x 16mm to a fully functional 110 mm x 60 mm x 8mm smartphone.

Why would a little rectangular box be a better shape for a pocket than a long, flat phone that can lay flat against my leg in my long, flat pocket? I'm not sure this is solving a problem.
I agree. I and every male I know carries their phone in the front pocket. The slim flat phone is a much better shape for carry.

When about time this product introduced to customer?
I love this idea and would pay at least 260 to 300 for this. Its design looks compatable with the design of the makers of 'Deus Ex Razer Open Bionics' prosthetic limb designs( https://youtu.be/Ia3P-_RHVWQ ). Perhaps this truly will be the next enhancement to communication? What other abilities does this tech have other then folding? Will it have more photo editing software? If so, will it be better then the editing of an Honor7X or Google Pixel+ ? Or perhaps one would be able to incorporate editing software that can be used at the whim of the user and not be limited to a simple App?

Someone needs to check the dimensions. A 60mm x 54mm fully functional smart phone is rather small by todays standards. The pictures suggest something more oblong.
That's folded, 110mm X 60mm is the phone
