Orbit
Mercury7

[1]The most recent addition to the Mercury7 fold is the Orbit. Inspired by early seventies electronics from manufacturers such as JVC(Videosphere), Panasonic(TR-005"Flying Saucer") and Canada's Electroholme.

[3] A 14" colour screen is used in this set, and is controlled by a remote control sensor located within the purple sphere which is situated above and to the right of the picture tube. Custom colours are available for the Mercury7 Orbit as well as optional stereo sound.

[2]The parts which make up the Orbit's main body are constucted from fiberglass, produced from a mould which was constructed in-house. The main body parts are contracted out to a fiberglass fabricator. The Saarinen type pedestal bases are manufactured by the same metal spinners that produce the domes for the Mercury7 Satellite.
