Entry Number 3112

My Time is a cloth diary that works as more than a place to write down appointments. Tabs labeled "my time" represent time used and time wasted, and they can be torn out and given away, stored, or discarded. The diary’s form is changed by the negative space created by the absent tabs, while the fabric binding shows dirt and wear—thus My Time becomes a delicate physical embodiment of the passage of time.
Chochinov: This is a fantastic entry—one of the very few low-tech solutions and one which is packed with sophisticated grace notes and formal beauty. Referencing the diary as a time measurement artifact is sweet and insightful, and the idea of giving away physical bits of time is incredibly heartwarming.
