Entry Number 2892

The O-Ring is a ring worn on the index finger together with a stick-on piece that attaches to the inner thumb. A projector in the ring and a reflector in the thumb-piece combine to create a holographic clock-face when the user forms finger and thumb into an "o". O-Ring playfully exploits the ability of the human hand to form the shape of traditional clock faces.
Moeslinger: While the gesture may not be culturally appropriate in all areas of the world, there is a certain joy in the seemingly ethereal display.
