
Fighting the sleek, modern Bluetooth-speaker-aesthetic here at CES are a few companies going the retro route. For starters, Sylvania's got a model that looks like a traveling salesman's record player (above) and another that looks like a cross between a suitcase and a Cadillac (below).

Studebaker goes further back in time, conjuring up the 1930's wooden cabinet-style radio grill:


A company called Pyle seems to be keeping time with Studebaker, as they make a seriously old-school phonograph:

But it's a company called Crosley that seems to have the broadest product range for the audiophile time traveler. In addition to selling Wurlitzer-lookin' jukeboxes...

...multifunctional phonographs that play CDs and have MP3 player hookups...

...and a line of more portable, '60s-looking Bluetooth speakers:


I liked seeing the wood stuff the best, but Studebaker was the only one to put up the fine print...and it was somewhat disappointing, if expected:
