100% Design
The London Design Festival officially started last Monday--perhaps a little ambitious given it really started today with the anchor show 100% Design, opening alongside it's offspring shows 100% Light and 100% Detail. Visitors were met with the extremely confident choice of a white carpet, however it does look great contrasted with the black detailing. We'll see how it survives by Sunday. More pictures after the jump.

When I see stuff like those bunny things (and there's plenty of it out there now), I'm reminded of 1960's era Sunbeam toasters with their kitschy silkscreen glass panels. Interesting how what so many designers sneered at only a few years ago as being low-brow now passes as new and interesting.
