Brooklyn Art Project member "Illegal Art" had no mercy for the windows of 70 Washington Street in DUMBO, Brooklyn this morning. No longer see-through, the gigantic windows are completely covered in a sea (6,272 to be exact) of Post-It notes that spell out "TO DO." But why? Illegal Art's installation aims to prompt "passersby to write down their own 'to do' lists and add to the collective consciousness of personal promises, social commitments and the yet to be done." We think "figure out what the hell I'm doing with my life" pretty much sums it all up. Yep.
(swissmiss has a nice flickr set up from this morning when she passed by the installation herself.)
