To celebrate their 30th anniversary, Umbra is holding a design competition with a somewhat misleading title, "You Design." From what we can tell they're not seeking actual product designs, but photographs of "using Umbra product[s] creatively in your space," i.e. flipping the Garbo can into a lamp as seen above.
Top prize is $5,000--not in cash, but in credit for purchasing Umbra products online, keeping the whole competition self-contained in the Umbra ecosystem. Still, if you're looking to load up on product, it does sound like a comp with a fairly low barrier to entry.
