Strange, was having the very same thought this afternoon, it seems you beat me to it Abhinav, conciliance as one of my lecturers called it (yes, you, Johan)
I however may have an ace up my sleeve....
OK, how does this sound. Rather than using an external adapter, that the one-off end user needs to some how acquire, the contacts, the usb connector its self, is printed directly onto the card. Simply by removing a section of the card the plug becomes accessible,part of the removed section can even be folded back around to thicken up the contact and make it more sturdy
