The Sunrise lampshade is by Saint Martins College student Pu Tai. The lampshade portrays the image of London's skyline with the effect of a rising sun when the light is switched on. The sunrise effect is realized by smart use of the light bulb warming up that makes a thermo chromic layer color change over time.

Designer Lauren Moriarty manufactures and distributes the lampshades at Peachy, a new label under which she works with designers in getting new products realized. She will be launching the Sunrise lampshade at the upcoming London Design Festival in September.
