Stevens, a Brooklyn-based composer, music technologist, and educator, embedded into the SoundBall a motion sensor that knows whether its being hit, thrown, or spun, then sending the info via Bluetooth to a computer that controls sound and music. The video above shows both children and adults having "a ball" (yuk yuk) at Sony Wonder Labs in NYC.
