Art Lebedev's Pultius TV remote control

Art Lebedev's 2 AAA battery-powered Pultius TV remote gives you almost as many buttons as there are channels. At nearly 20 inches long, there's no way you'd lose this one in the couch cushions.

perhaps a nod to:

I feel that the design is very well thought out, it is a simplistic, clean and surprisingly colorful remote control. The gradual shift in colors along the buttons gives it some character and gives a good flow to the overall piece. Who says that a remote cannot
be colorful and interesting to look at as well as functional? And I would qualify this
as functional no need to press 1-8 for 18 just hit the 18 button. By creating a design that has many more buttons than the typical remote it does take up more space, but at 20 inches it is only 6 inches longer that the current remote I own which came with the television. I do agree that it does share a strong design resemblance to the dot candies but who does not like those candies?

Yes!!! Candy buttons

...and when the batteries run out you can use it to poke the tv buttons from where you're sitting on the couch

I agree that it can be a functional object and also ascetically pleasing. The colors add a funky run feel to it. It's not that long. I am sure some one could designer one thats more absurd.
