You gotta love plumbing fixtures, they're like Lego for adults with industrial aesthetic preferences, as these DIY lamps show:

Sadly, these beautiful things were posted at Beautiful Life with absolutely no indication of provenance. If you're the mystery designer, please drop us a line so we can give you some props (and/or do an interview)!

Its not mystery designer at all. The team of designers called DEMO Design Clinic has developed first kind of lamp KOZO about year ago.
Here are reference for KOZO lamps site.

That lamp is the Etsy KOZO3 Designer Desk Lamp, that was being sold on Etsy for about $230. It's not available anymore to the best of my knowledge.
Here is where I first saw it (more than a year ago...)

I came across these same lamps a while back on etsy.com, you should be able to find the designers through the url above. I love the quirkiness that these lamps posses, each has it's own character.
They are Israeli designers called "DEMO"- design clinic.

Awesome! I am a plumber in Malvern in the united kingdom. I have been since I left school 20 years ago. I had no idea that plumbing fittings could be either vaguely attractive or useful in any other way than to convey water. I think the girlfriend will be getting a cutom made lamp for her birthday. Made from fittings from the van. Yes I'm that cheap!

This guy makes similar lamps that were in the movie Runaway Bride: http://herbhoover.com/ihd/
Here is a YouTube video that DEMO >> design clinic uploaded of how they craft a lamp.

It has a nice rhythm and the sound & bit is that of the actuall work tools used to assemble the thing. Its a cool video!
