
It was the automotive iPod dock of the 1950's: Chrysler's "Highway Hi-Fi" was an in-dash phonograph. Proprietary records produced by CBS ran at an extremely slow 16 2/3 rpm, which enabled more content (about an hour) to fit on each side of the dimunitive discs.
If only hip hop DJs were around back then, we're sure they'd have taken this thing for long drives across bumpy roads.
