Maybe guys are, after all, really just suckers for shiny things: I don't know the first thing about cycling but I started to covet these gorgeous CrankBrothers bike pedals as soon as I saw them. Made from manly-sounding materials like stamped steel, forged chromoly and machined aluminum, their line-up comes in five variants: Eggbeater (racing), Candy (mountain), Acid (gravity racing), Mallet (downhill) and 5050 (freeriding).

In addition to pedals, the California-based CrankBrothers manufacture a full line of bike accessories including wheelsets, bars, stems, seatposts, and even pumps and a line of custom cyclist's multi-tools. Though the categories are different, they all share the same slick aesthetic, which has its provenance in many different places: CB's inspiration page cites sources as diverse as Bang & Olufsen, Marc Newson and Mandarina Duck. Check out their full lineup of stuff here.

CB have always done some nice looking bike products - may have been a bit of form over function in the past. But the recent products have been awesome and the new products look like they are up to par. Not many places stock the full range here, in the UK, but there is a great independent called getcranked.co.uk that has almost everything.
Nice to see smaller businesses be able to stock some seriously amazing bike kit.
Check Out Po1nt Racing (point one racing) if you want to see some even cleaner designs. There are tons of great part designs in biking especially with the biking industry really at the peak stage of high level design and r&d
little know fact about CrankBrothers... they must be huge fans of Wyane Newton and often hide references in the packaging design... like "Wayne" hidden in an image of bike tread on a package.
