Here's some instructions on how to build your own human-powered charger for stuff that needs charging. As long as you know how to ride a bike can pedal sitting still on a stationary bike, you're good to go. These folks up here are juicing up their cell phones, but don't be shy when it comes to powering laptops, Wiis, or toaster ovens.

It was really fun to set these up and watch all the people get on and make their own electricity.

Hi I have purchased a traders tricycle. I want to convert it to a dynamo to run a natural flavour ice shaving machine and call it I-cycle. This will provide children at events with a healthy, fun interactive product. But I need help please. I was looking at manual ice shavers but they all need block ice this is not easy to obtain in the uk. But know I'm thinking there are lots of commercial 12volt ice shavers and to use a Dynamo of the bike. Any advise or recomendations that you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards Chel
