Plastics don't biograde, which is why it's a good idea to make them into something you can use for a while before you have to toss it in the trash. Here we have a DIY sprinkler made from pens and a 20-ounce bottle. Total project cost: assuming the bottle and pens are already paid for, less than five bucks.

Cool, but how long will it last? If it only lasts for three hours, isn't it a bigger waste of resources?
Designs such as these find their way into our visual space as a means of interest and ingenuity for its recycling aspect. However, it other regions of the world, these designs composed of prefabricated materials are something of a necessity. The ability to create such objects are within all of our abilities, though. Most of us just don't tap into the source of seeing objects in this way because in our world of comfortable survival, we don't have to. Strip away our electricity, bed, running water, etc. and you will find the discarded objects of the fortunate to make your own.
genious!
Super SUPER..
you just made my day. Let this be an inspiration to all of us (designers). thumbs up...my faith is restored in Core ;)
awsome! hydro powered projectiles! Wait till the mean kids down the street decide to play in the sprinkler. Revenge will be mine.
Pedro--
Plastic lasts a long time. Thats the problem with it. It probably could work for hundreds of years if no one steps on it.
