Joel Roberts' Eaux Eaux is one of the prettiest bathroom sinks I've ever seen:

Eaux Eaux is an all-encompassing basin inspired by oceanic form and motion. The trough acts as its catchment area, whilst its rolling crest forms its combined spout and splash back with one minimal 'swoosh'.When used, the spout expels water to continue the basin's collapsing wave form with a sleek clear blade of water completing the basin cycle and bringing the wave to life. Eaux Eaux's lean body is hollowed to embody and eject the water without a hint of fixturing, evoking a playful yet mysterious nature.

Unfortunately it's just a concept. Roberts' design was selected as a Finalist in Australia's Bathroom Innovation Award 2011, a design competition sponsored by bathroom & plumbing products company Reece. Click the link to check out other finalists in the competition.

This is great! It would work quite nicely at Catch 31 on VA beach...one of the top rated bathrooms in the US. I'll take one.
Prettiest but the knob controls aren't in best place.
Great design - hope someone will take it into production!
