Most of us are lucky if we ever get to see a Bugatti or a McLaren, but this website's got them all. Wrecked, that is.
Anyone who's survived a car crash, including your correspondent, can tell you they're nothing you want to re-live; but there's something undeniably mesmerizing about scads of archived photographs of $300,000 automobiles that learned about physics the hard way.
Crashes range from comical to horrific, from an Audi TT that fell off the mechanic's lift to a Rolls-Royce Phantom that took AK-47 fire on a St. Petersburg street. Overturned Aston-Martins, mangled Maybachs and flaming Ferraris, they're all here, culled from three continents.
Brief missives at the bottom of each photo explain how the crashes occurred, which will hopefully make you think twice before you try to impress that blonde at the stoplight.
