Ferrari motorcycle concept

The V4 Ferarri motorcycle concept (by Israeli ID'er Amir Glinik) is cool, but to me it's the opposite of fried chicken: I think it's better with the skin off.

The wheelbase is too long and there doesn't appear to be any front suspension (or scope for much rear travel), but there's some cool ideas there. The massive intakes look ace.

im sorry, this is not attractive to me whatsoever
it looks like a bad modern concept version of the ducati paso

RickelleSeptember 26, 2008 9:00 AM

I agree that it looks better with the skin off. But as Olly said, wheel base is waaaaay too long. That thing would be a bitch to turn. Why would I want the Ferrari name but have to drive it like a Harley? I'd take a Ducati over that any day.

Ferrari asked Industrial & Arts to remove the article. Really a pity. It's a beautiful design.

Where is the windscreen?

Without one, what is going to protect me from all of the killer bug splats?

ThriftyOctober 10, 2008 6:51 AM

With the cars that Ferrari design and make you would have thought they could come up with a better super bike than this. Concept I think it should just stay that!!

drmrboy64November 12, 2008 4:12 PM

Well, I must say that this "concept" bike is a looker!! However, I think that it doesn't seem to have a lot of practicality... To me, it doesn't look very comfortable for starters and I must agree with some of the other comments, that it is a little on the long side! It definitely looks like a straight line bike! I'm sure it goes fast, but then again, so does a 'Hayabusa"... and the Busa is a very comfortable bike to ride, not to mention the bang for your buck!! I'm sure there has been a lot of research and fine engineering put into this two-wheeled rocket and I would imagine the price tag would be astounding as well!? Hmm? Sounds like "Bragging Rights" to me!!
