You could argue there's nothing sillier than setting the clock forward to game yourself into punctuality, but people do it all the time. The "On Time" clock by Italy's Diamantini & Domeniconi addresses this by throwing a kink in the minute hand.
Ironically, Diamantini & Domeniconi don't seem to have a very good sense of time themselves, or they're defunct; their website hasn't been updated since 2009.

People do that all the time, an amount of people do it
but like once in their lifes,it's a great clock, with
a touch of simplicity and beauty, but most of the people
will forget about the 3 minutes and might be confuse.
maybe adjustable hand?
