It's surprising to think Aston Martin uses the same plastic Irwin clamps you or I might use to glue up a humble craft project, but apparently even a $1.75 million supercar requires at least a few guys who go home with glue under their fingernails.

These shots are from a Wired Autopia slideshow, and it's pretty fascinating to see the lengths undertaken to assemble this obscenely expensive vehicle in a facility that looks more like an operating room than a factory. The One-77, as it's called, is manufactured in a purpose-built facility divided into seven workstations rather than an assembly-line-type arrangement. Check it out here.
