Last year Jeremiah Warren attached an 808 #11 camera—the so-called "keychain camera," a poor man's GoPro—to a series of fireworks. The resultant rocket's-point-of-view video is surprisingly watchable:
This year the Dallas-based photographer used a proper GoPro and some helium balloons to give you the opposite point of view:
Warren posted photos of his rig, as well as lessons he learned the hard way, on his Facebook page:

Do not use party-balloon helium; it's not pure helium and will limit the balloon's lift.

You can get real helium from a welding supply store.

Filling three-foot-diameter balloons inside your house makes them tough to get out the door.
