Following Wednesday's post on the Bachelor's Chair we received an e-mail from Liverpool-based designer Karsten Eriksen, who's currently prototyping a similar product.

Eriksen's untitled update on the Bachelor's Chair has a clean Scandinavian look to it, and the transforming sequence seems a lot less clunky than it is on the original: The seat bottom flips forward, turning into a vertical support element, and the backrest acrobatically pivots 270 degrees to become the ironing board.

You'll notice there's no stepstool element, as there is in the original. Why? Well, Eriksen's Danish—those guys are friggin' tall.
