If you're like me, barely-there megapixel cameras, neon-color screens, and so-so MP3 players are the bane of your cell-phone existence. The stunningly simple, yet-to-be released Motofone will be geared towards first time wireless users, prepaid buyers, and developing countries (Hey-I want one too). The slim and trim 0.35" profile, sun and dust resistance, and an "extended" battery life are some attributes that the user can actually benefit from.

If Apple doesn't make an iPhone soon I'll be in the market for one of these.
Simpler really is better.
Finally!
Shame it's a Motorola though: crappy software with UI impossible to use, a predictive text system that thinks every sentence ends in the numeral '1' and a keypad that malfunctions more often than not.
I found the statement "geared towards... developing countries" quite alarming. Obviously the marketing department there has never been to a third world nation...having spent most of my life in various developing countries I can tell you - only the very best phones will do.
