What a sight this would be...

Office Collar has been designed in response to the open plan, working environment. The collars act as spatial isolators, narrowing the field of vision, therefore enabling their wearer to focus on the tasks in front of them.

Welcome to the social

seeing the office colloar has demonstrated to me that the brains neural sites for humor and for anxiety are discrete and may be stimulated simultanously.

This is quite a design...and absolutely ridiculous. It is understandable that employers would like their workers to be more focused on a certain task, but treating them as if they are horses is completely absurd. What is the point in having an open working environment if employees must wear a mask, blocking them off from distractions? Why not just put employees into cubicals where they can be blocked off and call it a day? This concept is nonsense to me.

Also handy if you've just been neutered and you need to stop yourself from licking those itchy stitches.

This is work is a comment on the working environment more than a literal product for the market. Open plan offices are not designed for the entertainment of views but as a means to allow the employers to view employees and ensure they are working at their desks. This overview can't be achieved with a cubical.
As an object it is meant to stimulate humour and anxiety. The fact that so many of you view it as a product aimed at the market as opposed to one that comments upon it shows how much a statement like this is required.

The stupidity of some management never ceases to amaze me... -_-

Simone said, "Open plan offices are not designed for the entertainment of views but as a means to allow the employers to view employees and ensure they are working at their desks."

Frankly, if an employer is hiring people who are not being productive in their cubicle workspace perhaps that employer should examine their hiring criteria rather than changing workspace plans in order to babysit their employees.

They made horse blinders for people, lovely.
