That's the problem Delta's tackling with their recent takeover of Northwest. How long will it take them to rebrand their newly-acquired planes? About two years, and 40,000 gallons of paint.

12 days! Can't help wondering if it wouldn't be faster, cheaper and far more environmentally friendly to use decals - like model airplanes, or taxicabs here in Europe.
But perhaps its tough to get the stuff to stay stuck on through the subzero, high UV, high windspeed thrashing aircraft take.
