
Portfolio of the Week goes to Marcos Madia, a Buenos Aires-based designer with an excellent knack for coming up with fresh forms for commonplace objects.

Last week we showed you an Indian sitting style chair. Madia's take on cultural furniture is a "Latin Sofa," designed with Angela Martin Martin, that tilts backwards for a quick siesta:

His clever Party Dish is the perfect flatware for standing-room-only parties where you'd still like a bottle of vino to go with your chow:

And last but not least, Madia's wicked, two-man-operated Aero portable windpower harnessing device pulls juice out of the air.
