Looks like globalization's not everywhere yet; 'Stateside we've not yet seen these ads, which are featured on the Russian site advertka.ru. The tagline for the first photo is "brawn for your brain," and the second photo cleverly transforms cans of tuna into the scales of that creature.
But here's one we can't figure out:

This nightmarish-looking subway map is actually a gross exaggeration of the system's complexity--the actual map is below. As far as we can tell, the map above is some type of advertisement for a taxi service--can anyone with a grasp of Russian and German help us out?

Last picture isn't an add and just a real map that shows some German city' taxi routes.
as the previous poster said, it's a map of taxi routes overlayed on the metro map
It's rather telling that immediately below the line that says "here's one we can't figure out-" is a placed advertisement for Coroflot!?!?!
this is a subway plan from hamburg in germany. the upper one shows all the streets you can go by car - so that it virtually seems a good idea to take the metro...
So it's a german taxi map with a lot of lines inside the map.
And second print is subway's map.
The meaning of ad campaign was that taxi could move everywhere not by specific lines only as subway do.
you can see a video (in English langugage) about the taxi poster on the web site of the advertising agency that made it: http://www.nordpol.com
