Korean artist Bae Se-hwa started generating blog buzz following the appearance of his Steam 11 walnut chair at this year's Art Basel, but that was the only piece of his many of us had ever seen.

After taking a closer look at Bae, we're happy to report there's tons more--Steam 11, after all, was named numerically; there's also a 1 through 10 (not to mention 12).

Hit the jump to see more of Bae's stuff, along with our favorite types of photos: In-studio process shots!

Utterly beautiful.
Just want to draw attention to almost identical work being done state-side by Matthias Pliessnig: www.matthias-studio.com/
I to want to comment that Matthias Pliessnig has been working in this extremely similar style for years now. Take a peek at his website for his amazing work! www.matthias-studio.com/
And before both of them I was doing it! At least Matthias acknowledges his reference.
