Dutch design duo Guido Ooms and Karin van Lieshout are OOOMS, a two-person atelier with the creativity of a ten-person firm, as evidenced by their body of work. Here's a few of our faves:

The Expect cabinet's clean, symmetrical shape leads you to believe it'll open up into four normal drawers. Wrong! Instead you get a hinged lid, a sliding top, a swivel-pivot, and one normal drawer thrown in as a token.

The Rebellious cabinet is a piece of furniture that would drive the anally retentive totally insane--the drawers never shut. Not all at the same time, anyway; close one and another pops open, like it was designed by Bugs Bunny.

The Lo-Res Chair shows us what the iconic Eames chair might have looked like if it were CAD'ed up on an old Commodore 64 or similar. Made out of polyurethane foam, though we doubt it's as comfortable as the original.
