If you're a tabloid reporter, your lucky day comes when a celebrity throws out their trash and you get to pick through it.

For the rest of us, what does our trash say about us? New-Hampshire-based "Eco-artist" Tim Gaudreau has done a series of conceptual self-portraits (above) by photographing every single thing he threw out in 365 days of living.
The project reminds us a bit of Nico Van Hoorn's "Trashlog" from '05 (below) whereby the Dutch artist photographed a single piece of street trash every day for three years.

Now be honest--if we told you it was Madonna's trash, or Barack Obama's, or Philippe Starck's, would you be more inclined to look?

Of course the earliest big-deal version of this might have been http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A._J._Weberman who famously and notoriously went through Bob Dylan's garbage back in the day..
