Here's an innovative way to slow speeding traffic down: put life-sized cardboard cutouts of your own kids by the side of the road. Sounds crazy, but it worked in Ohio, where the man who came up with the idea is now selling them for 60 bucks a pop. We hope his kids get a cut. Billy, if you're reading this, don't sign that model release form just yet; hold out for more cash!

I like the idea. I think it could definitely work. I know a bunch of local streets where we could place these cut outs. My only concern for success is the cost. I don't think people are going to shell out $60 for a cardboard cut out. Why not make it yourself?
Fantastic idea... glad to see it works. Just hope it doesn't turn into a "boy who cried wolf" story...
i've seen this in Poland, but instead of kids there are veneer police cars
Wow, to me this is a horrible idea. I think this is reckless, bad design, that like so much does not take into account the life of the product. Think about the effects of having these up for a week or two, soon drivers will realize they are not children and will start to ignore the child-like signs, and then children too. It is not ok to trick someone with the life of a child.
Ive seen this in Sweden for meny years. Ive even seen 2D kids that run after a football and its placed just after a turn and its half hidden in the bush. You'll get a heart attack each time.
I would like to know how to get ahold of the maker of these cut outs
