Unistrut is like Lego for adults, or at least adults who work in warehouses and/or need to make sturdy rack systems out of metal. Best of all you don't need a welding set-up--choose your connectors, choose your channel rails, and you're in business.
Best of all there's no welding set-up required, just a wrench and some imagination. Check out the possibilities here.

Check out Maytec too- similar system but better in my opinion. Maytec comes in more sizes and has a better fastener system with more choices. My two cents after using it for multiple trucks/vehicles and other units.
I hate unistrut! I had to use this stuff to simulate my job of building cubicles when I was in physical therapy. The connectors were flimsy and weak and you had to really wrench on the bolts to make any of the pieces stay together. Most of the bars were made of material that was way too heavy and long. I would never recommend building anything especially any type of modular shelving out of this stuff. I've been working with office furniture a long time and there are much better shelving systems than this one.
